Limited Use commitment
Seekmory's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Seekmory uses Chrome user data only to provide and improve the user-facing, on-device history search and archive features described in the product interface and store listing.
How Chrome data is used
With the permissions you grant, Seekmory may read locally available Chrome history and session information to create a private, searchable archive. On-device processing may create short summaries, embeddings, indexes, and search results. Your queries are processed locally to retrieve matching records.
Seekmory does not use Chrome user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, insurance, surveillance, profiling unrelated to the extension's features, or any purpose unrelated to providing the extension.
No transfer or sale
Seekmory does not transmit Chrome browsing history, URLs, page titles, visit metadata, summaries, queries, embeddings, or indexes to Seekmory's website, Creem, advertisers, data brokers, or remote AI providers. It does not sell Chrome user data.
Checkout and purchase recovery are separate from browser-history processing. They use only the minimum purchase and licensing information described in the Privacy Policy.
No human access
Because the extension's browsing archive and search processing remain on your device, Johnie and Seekmory support personnel do not have access to that Chrome user data. Do not include browsing history, page content, search queries, passwords, or activation keys in a support request.
Your control
You can remove individual records or selected results, export or import a local CSV, or delete all Seekmory data. Deleting all Seekmory data also stops future archiving until you explicitly resume it. You can also remove the extension through Chrome.
